Birds are a traditional favorite of the glass masters of Venice and these mouthblown birds are no exception. A spicy red is cased within cristallo glass and a layer of gold dust is added to give it a finishing shimmer. The bird on the left measures 10" tall and is posed with his head slightly turned. The bird on the right measures 12" tall and its neck is outstretched. Each bird is signed by the artist. Click on the image to view details. |
